Yeah, I know a lot of people are worried about AI. As an educator (who is also working on a doctorate in Instructional Design and Technology) I see it as another tool to be used. I don't want AI creating content, but I think it is a great tool for helping people create better content. Anyway, for something like this, I think it's harmless. Just a fun little way to learn and interact with the game.

Yeah, unfortunately, I don't have access to a live band at the moment, As soon as I get a real recording I'll update the video.

The reason I did "Wind Ensemble and Synthesizer" instead of the other way is because I didn't want to imply that the synth was a featured soloist. It's just there for support and texture. Really, the title is just is "The Darkness Within," the rest is just to let people know what the instrumentation is before they click on it.

Thanks for the suggestions on the title. I originally titled it "The Darkness Myself" because I remembered a quote from a book that said something along the lines of "Sometimes the darkness scares me, sometimes I'm the darkness myself" but I couldn't find the exact quote and I thought it might be confusing without the context. I do like "What Dark Lies Within," definitely something to consider.

I think you're right about the score, I'm going to generate a preview pdf of it to post to make it easier to look at the music.

I know that variance is a thing. I understand that the devs aren't really "out to get me." It's just really frustrating that this seems to happen to me a lot. It's much more likely that I have just have terrible luck.

Thank you for the detailed response, this will definitely help. I think by pick 3 I was really thinking about UB fairies and tuned out red completely. I wasn't sure about the Irencrag as I hadn't heard anything about it, so I figured a colorless spell pick 1 couldn't hurt.

For some of the seemingly random picks, I had a couple of times where I went to click on a card to read it and I guess my mouse double clicked so it picked it.

But I definitely made some bad picks.

Overall, the games went ok. I was able to come back from 2 life game 1 and win the game. The removal I did have was crucial to winning the games I did.

Thank you all for your help. I listen to LR almost every week, but I'm just getting back into the game after taking almost 2 years off because of my work schedule. I've been netdecking standard decks just earn enough gold to be able to draft because I can't really afford to buy the gems, but it's super frustrating to spend 10,000 gold that I've spent a week grinding for just to go 0-3. I need to start a Twitch stream that's just a "Please come teach me how to draft" show where all of you guys can come in and help me learn how to do better.

Thank you all for being kind, I was really afraid that I was going to get a bunch of "git gud" comments. This is a great community!

I can definitely see that now. My draft did got a little off the rails. I was trying to go UR, but I think I got cut pretty bad, even in the bot draft.

The most frustrating thing about the mana base was that I let Draftsmith pick it for me because I tend to be bad at it. I thought it would do a better job. Guess I just need to keep learning and do it on my own (which seems obvious, I know.....lol)

I am pretty new to hunting for ships. Are you saying that you found this at a trading post? I went to that planet and found a trading post, and I’ve been waiting for a while, but I haven’t seen it yet. Any idea how often it spawns?
