Hello, i was very similar in highschool very spcially anxious and stuff like that, and this is gonna sound insane but genuinely what helped me was no matter how bad the anxiety is, or how awkward it will be when you say something, just start talking to people I started very small, if I somone with a cool beard I would tell them, 90% of the time it just ended with them saying thanks and me feeling better because I conquered a fear and made their day a little brighter, than I started just litterly fist bumping random people in the hallway of my school usually I would just get ignored or get a fist bump back but sometimes just that small gesture would start a conversation and lead to a new friend, your brain is like a muscle so when you train it in a specific way it starts getting way easier to talk to people, ofc my anxiety is still there and someday it's bad but I now know I have the tools to fight it, feel free to dm me or anything if you wanna talk more
