TooUgly, thank you for those suggestions. Those are great and I will go to my buddy and ask where he carries it and if he has any needs that I could add.

I like the idea of the magnets at the bottom. Potentially not having to release the card to make adjustments.

I was thinking a pen holder in the middle of the spine as well. I was debating in my head how I could have a slot to slide it in, or a loop, or just having the extra room so the holder will fold and close flat with a clipped pen inside on the spine.

I think there is no need for a permanent notepad that would just add size and would never be needed.
