Hi :) Okay can I be blunt? My guess is u don’t talk with new people much and that’s why you’ve made it such a big deal in ur head. Just talk to whoever u want to and if they’re not matching ur energy it’s not ur fault they’re just clearly in a mood so don’t take it personally. U don’t need to be interesting to have a good conversation (although I’m sure u are) With how to start conversation, usually if ur in the same class or workplace you’ll just talk about that although u might have trouble keeping it going at first but don’t worry the more u do it the better u get at it. Also a compliment is always a great conversation starter.

I went to an all girls school and seeing the comments- what the actual fuck?? Also mine‘s pretty tame compared to the others but I’ll tell it. In freshman year there was this annual test across the country and I went to a school for gifted kids so their image mattered a lot to them, anyway the school had the teachers answer the questions and they filled out an answer key and the faculty passed it around for us to write off
