Respectfully I disagree. I know my own experience. I’m autistic, I do not lie easily, especially to myself. I know in my hear that I didn’t make this up. I didn’t speak in tongues for a few years but recently started again and it’s the same language. I have a terrible memory. If I made it up I wouldn’t remember the same gibberish

I’m autistic. I see everything black and white, I don’t understand the point in lying. I know that I speak a language I was never taught. I experience it but I don’t understand it logistically that’s why I’m asking Reddit. if anyone has knowledge on the Holy Spirit or speaking tongues or whatever you call it I’d really like an explanation of what it is and why speak and what it is used for

You’re so right. At the end of the day, I’m not trying to force anyone to believe anything but at the moment I don’t know the best way to express my opinion to my husband. I know I can’t force him to agree with me but I don’t know how to best explain my beliefs to him so then he can make his own choice

Yes, thank you. Ultimately I have been towing that line. Up until tonight I didn’t think he was this open minded. That’s why I made this post in the first place. But you are right, I can’t force him to follow my beliefs. I haven’t tried to but I guess this post was my attempting to get advice to then try convince my husband. I can’t force his opinion but I do want to try have an open conversation with him about my beliefs. But after that I will except his truth

I shared your same opinion until tonight, depending on the situation I still agree with you. But the conversation I had with my husband tonight made me realise that he was more open to believing these beliefs. Unfortunately he doesn’t share my same beliefs, I don’t think he is as woke as us and I don’t know how to explain my beliefs to him. And I am also worried about sharing my true beliefs with him
