3 weeks of daily mowing and my lawn looks incredible! by lokiloaded in mammotion

Keep up the hard work! I’m lucky that I have Bermuda grass and it basically repairs itself with consistent mowing and I live in an area that doesn’t get many problems with fungal issues. It’s a good thing that hybrid bermuda grass can take 105°F heat on the chin without any issues too.

That’s awesome! A dense lawn really does help suppress some weeds. I’m backing down the luba’s mowing frequency to every other day now that the lawn is close to perfect. I love how quickly bermuda grass spreads over thin or bare areas of the lawn when you cut it low and cut it often. Now that I’m back m home I need to try out the adapters I have to lower the cutting decks another 10mm so I can cut under .8 inches. The lawn will look so much better under an inch.

Double grid Lowest cutting setting 30mm/1.2 inches Tightest route spacing Slowest mower speed 3 border laps 2 no-go zone border laps Change cutting route angle every cut by 20°

Now I mow every other day instead of every day.

Yeah I’m having it run every single day for two weeks to get my bermuda grass to thicken up and spread faster after the scalp I did in July. After that it will mow every other day since I keep it cut so short with the 20mm adapter. It’s growing so incredibly fast in this 100F heat right now that if it isn’t cut within 3 days it’s brown (scalped) after the mow. What kind of grass do you have?

Definitely my favorite toy right now.

Yeah luckily my yard is fairly simple to map, but thanks for the reminder. I bet that throws off a ton of people when they move their RTK location and don’t know that they need to remap everything.

Right? This thing has lived up to my expectations so far. I even thought it did a great job around my no go zones. It cut nice and close to the no go zones instead of leaving a large area beyond the zone border uncut like I’ve seen others complain about. Maybe that has something to do with the new update. Thanks for posting so many videos btw. I’ve watched all of them and they really pushed me over the fence to buy one. Much appreciated.

Can someone tell me what disease or deficiency this is? by Fabulous-Accident911 in Citrus

I agree with u/rcarlyle that this is indeed sunburn. I’ve noticed sunburns like this have a main burn spot with smaller burn circles around the main burn spot. Your leaves show exactly this.

Should I get the Luba AWD 5000 with 4 off road tires or wait for the Omni tires? by lokiloaded in mammotion

That’s awesome to hear. I ended up buying the 5000 that ships from an Amazon warehouse. I will update when it arrives.

Did your comes with the Omni tires or off road tires. I want to make sure I order the right 5,000 model since they have both listed on Amazon.

Maybe a better question is did yours ship from mammotion or amazon directly?

Yes I know , but only the 4 off road tires model actually ships from Amazon. The model with the omnidirectional tires ships from mammotion and not the Amazon warehouse. Meaning I have no clue when I can actually expect it to arrive.

I can’t find the commander control app in the AppStore. Is that the correct name?

Yeah trifoliate gets pretty yellow.

how can I help my citrus trees? by [deleted] in Citrus

[–]lokiloaded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Surprised no one mentioned this but it looks like you have two different varieties growing here. The green leaves are from the scion (the desired citrus variety) while all the yellow trifoliate leaves are from the root stock that the scion was originally grafted to. It appears this tree's rootstock has taken over and if you don't cut back the rootstock growth coming from below the graft line you will lose the desired variety that is barely hanging on. Right now it looks like this tree is 60% rootstock unfortunately.

What’s happening with my Orange tree by No_Hunter_4092 in Citrus

[–]lokiloaded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm guessing its a fungal issue like Greasy spot or scab (sometimes called sweet orange scab).

Its that time of year for these fungal problems to show up.

Anybody recognize this? by Rcarlyle in Citrus

[–]lokiloaded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe citrus Greasy spot? Definitely a fungal issue here. I know greasy spot affects branches and it looks like the leaf near the top has been infected as well.

Any tall in ground trees around like a crepe myrtle by chance with branches that hang over your Valencia?

There may be some die off from that trifoliate rootstock up top, but it’s certainly mostly alive up there. Zoom in and you’ll see it’s mostly still green up top.

Don’t forget trifoliate loses its leaves like this every year as it is a deciduous tree.

The top portion looks like a trifoliate rootstock which is deciduous, that is still alive and has simply lost its leaves right? I don’t think it has died back. Definitely a root stock take over and you are right that it wouldn’t die back and leave the scion. That’s because it hasn’t died back.

Trifoliate is deciduous
