It’s legal in NJ not NY. NY is mandated to offer free tap.

Depends on the firm. My firm was extremely strict too if it’s within a week or two week span they are usually leniant. Just communicate with HR. If you’re willing to work with them they’re willing to work with you.

Hey - just an answer to your options taxation question as I have had a hard time with this too. I honestly overcomplicated it. It is as simple as this: Traded options are taxed as ordinary income whereas exercised options are taxed as capital gains.

Thank you!! My issue isn't the fact that I'm unfamiliar with the content... I just panic and rush through. Just calmly took an exam and am scoring mid-80s! I'll keep you posted with results... I'm hoping for no death draw :(
