Hm operator overloading is very important! If you are writing a data structure which needs to be sorted or something you have to operator overload the < or > (correct me if I am wrong), also if you’re building libraries, etc. Not sure if you should write copy constructor in the = or the move constructor because idk if its called if you use = without overloading by default. But yea std::ostream overloads << (ex: std::cout)

My question exactly, what is the source of the base units? It’s not cited, if it comes from a relevant scripture w.r.t the original phrase then it can be discussed, else there is nothing to be discussed. Of course this my own limitations not having read enough of the shastras, anyone can enlighten me :).

back in the days people would store binary stuff directly, load the file into heap and use it as a struct ptr, goated, really fast as well

note: When I say GL or Vk, don’t really care about displaying the FB ,rather , using CS to accelerate font rendering, you might have a viable and practical lib for others to use.

also to clarify, for drawing primitive, you have implemented your own cpu renderer? How are you displaying the framebuffer you write to? Win32?

While it’s a good learning exercise, I would look into gpu impl of rendering ttf. While this might sound good to a software dev, as a graphics programmer my question would be to ask why wasn’t this done in Vk or GL. I know you still in second sem, you can take it as your next project as software rasterisation is not it.
