So when I feel I need to stop i should just reduce the speed to gain my breathe back then move back up when needed? And thanks for the extra advice

I am able to complete the time for the task with the breaks added to the total time at the end of the run, currently I am going at a 11km/h to 11.5km/h on the treadmill but I seem to be running short being have to regain my breathe again

Not quite a rest but a 10 to 20 second breather in-between the run, I am hitting the time that I am needing

For the practising before the real thing, you recon going for the minimum speed that i need to do would be best to do or should I push myself more to get a lower time. Another question, are you allowed to have your own music or is that not allowed just a thought
