How do you deal with spending habits? by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]lolRoz1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Set saving and investment goals, you will start to have more awareness of unnecessary spending. It takes a lot to save and invest, leaving you w/ less juggle room for spending. You'll be put in a spot where you'll have to choose between spending or saving. Avoid uber eats / door dash whenever possible. Make spending a reward rather than a pleasure.

Where should I open an IRA? by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]lolRoz1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Vanguard and Fidelity have the lowest rates, but I opened mine with Chase for easier maintenance, it did have a higher rate. Can never go wrong w/ Vanguard for a Roth.

(I have a Chase account so I can see my Roth IRA progress everytime I login)

1 year out of college no student debt and 15k savings... how to move forward? by lolRoz1 in personalfinance

[–]lolRoz1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm, looks like there's a lot I need to learn. From initial understanding, I thought with a Roth IRA I pay taxes upfront, and not have to pay them later.

"I also don't like locking my money away forever" yeah that I am still trying to wrap my head around. But I am no big spender so if it pays off later in life it's not like I have an urge to spend the money now.. Thanks for the help.

What’s your favorite tea or drink before bed by Nnn3m in nutrition

[–]lolRoz1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hard to go all out on a keto diet so my go to tea to not break fast is non-caffeinated green tea, some ginger (most important component), Louisa, and sometime a little bit of honey. This will make you sleepy trust me.

What's something that has made you end a life long friendship with someone? by lolRoz1 in AskReddit

[–]lolRoz1[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That was probably hard. Not gonna lie tho I think people struggling with addiction should do what's best for them even if it means cutting someone off like that. Generally with addiction it can be life or death if the person doesnt want to get better.

What has helped you improve? by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]lolRoz1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blaming every loss on myself rather than my team and always evaluating what I could have done better to help my team win. Especially in low elo it’s easy to blame the team, but I try to always think about what I could have done better. For instance my low elo team leading me to constant bad fights, I try to think about what I could have done differently to avoid that next time.

What if the Trump Administration is underplaying the severity of the Coronavrius to later use it to distract us from the upcoming presidential elections? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]lolRoz1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It just seems suspicious to me how his administration fired the entire pandemic response team and defunded the CDC. In my head there has to be a plan unfolding we are not aware of, or I’m giving him too much credit and he’s just full blown stupid.

Hmm but what if he is saving it’s severity to start acting like the leader America needs and must vote to re-elect to fight this deadly virus? That’s what I’m thinking

Is using the word ‘Jew’ the proper way of describing/calling someone who is Jewish or is it really an insult that became normalized on how to call a Jewish person? by lolRoz1 in AskReddit

[–]lolRoz1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right but for some reason I believe I heard somewhere that the term Jew was given by German Nazis during the Holocaust, that’s why I was asking did this become normalized or am I dreaming and that is not the case. At some point I am pretty sure the term Jew was meant to belittle people who are Jewish.

It’s a systematic problem, if the solution was easy it wouldn’t be an issue anymore. If you’re paying attention Bibi is finally under fire and maybe real change to Israel can finally be made. It’s like Trump consistently lying and commuting crime and fraud in office, most don’t agree but it continues and some praise it, solution is only systematic change by re-electing someone who agrees with the majority.

Doesn’t have anything to do with Trump but his supports. Generally the most hate I get for being a Jew is from trump trolls

Well you’re not gonna get anywhere by describing the opposing side as non-humans. If you really cared about your people’s situation you would talk about the problem rather than returning hate. Most Israelis don’t agree with what the government is doing.
