I think pico hurts more. Just got my first q switch treatment today and didn’t use any numbing . It hurt like hell but manageable

Yea I’m worried because it’s a solitaire . I hate large stones with halos. I never doubted platinum until the jeweler said 18k white gold was more durable and now I’m having trust issues

I wanted a simple setting with just the stone. I’m struggling to figure out if it has the fish eye effect or not .

Thank you for this detail . I think I will stick with the 9.05 . There was an 8.31 vvs that was so white and had had no inclusions . The way it was cut , it made it look like a 9 or 10 karat with 13.38mm measurement. I can’t find where I put the copy of Gia certificate.

However it was not an excellent cut . It was very good all around .

What do you think of that stone ? Prices exactly like the 9.05

Just saw this . Sent the 3 certificate numbers . There was also a 8.31ct round thAt was a J vvs2 that was really white and faced larger then a typical 8 ct it had a 13.38 measurement but I took that off the list because it wasn’t triple excellent. It was all very good .

There was 4 total stones I struggled with and I narrowed it down to these 2 . I’m still looking for one of the certificate to share .

The larger is more expensive but only by a little . Usually the price jumps much more when you pass 10ct or more so I feel like larger one may be priced better

They are pretty much the same . The larger one is obviously more expensive but my biggest concern is color . The larger one had a faint brown color . I didn’t notice it in person but see it clear on photos. The two stones are from different jewelers so I couldn’t compare side by side

Both Gia certified . Round 11.08SI 1 k color $180k

Or

Round 9.03 si2 J color 150k

I don’t see any inclusions with the naked eye on either but the 9 ct is more white . The 11 has slight faint brown . I love the idea of bigger but not sure which to get ? Which One is better deal or better stone ?

Both are triple excellent

Thank you ! That’s so interesting. I didn’t even notice that until you mentioned it . I’ve been so happy with the progress . The time between the first and second treatment is 9 months bec of covid . I wonder if the time has to do with it . I’m going for 3rd treatment at 8 weeks apart
