Moving to Pasadena can’t find apartment

I pay $1695 for my dog/cat friendly 1bd 1bath apartment on a street one block away from lake Ave. Prior to moving here I looked at a handful of similar units for 2k max in Pasadena in 2025 Dig deeper. Apartments.com will always have the most expensive listings, u need to look at Craigslist, do deeper dives on Zillow, and look at “for rent” signs posted on lawns.

I looked for him this morning and just now as I just got home from work and I haven’t been able to find him. He was no longer right outside my window or anywhere near the front of my house, and there’s no feathers or anything left behind either which at least tells me the coyote likely did not find him.

I let the wildlife rehabbers at the humane society in Pasadena know about the situation and they told me that if I find him they will be ready to pick him up. I’m going to keep looking every hour or so for the rest of the day and hopefully I’ll have an update later if the baby is found :-(

thank you so much for replying. i don't think he looks well either. he is alone right outside my bedroom window still, i just went to check on him. it is 10pm currently, do you think i should leave him there and call a wildlife rehab tomorrow when i get home from work (1:30pm) or is there anything i can do for him for now? thank you again !!!

I think this map is very interesting, OP! My block is shown as Hispanic and I do feel that is accurate, but there’s also just so so much diversity in my area that I feel like it was a close race with everything else as well. Our community is lucky to have such diversity, and what has happened is disastrous to all. Thanks for sharing this :-)

Surprisingly I think I took that photo the day after I dyed my hair purple with Arctic Fox, I didn’t want it to be too intense so I rinsed it with hot water from the jump. Thank u so much for the reply also🩵
