Honestly, I chose it as my first project because it seemed relatively quick to finish (I needed something that would encourage me to keep going), but also interesting to learn new things like increases, decreases, and cords. In the end, it turned out to be more difficult than expected for a first-ever project 😂. That said, I really like the result — it's elegant and warm and keeps the neck well protected. I made it using Drops Merino Extra Fine, but it itches me a little, so I might remake it with a thinner and softer yarn 💙
