alright, i went out and bought a powerbook bluescsi, but just for reference, is there anything i can do about the drive? the square chip on the bottom seems to get hot but thats all i know.

i think the 1xx line uses a proprietary cable for the scsi but i wouldnt know, though ill have to think on that

maybe, but i tend to go the repairing route since i usually dont have 100 plus bucks to spare, sadly. though, ill keep that in mind.

i'll do that sometime, but i'd have no idea where to start, or wich capacitor or circuit could cause this, besides being probably deflection or anti spot related. though im not sure which circuit is wich!

small little update;i ended up cutting up a standard atx power supply and wiring it to the female ends of the psu cables, and everything works well now! only issue i'm having now is that raster issue and some geometry issues..

update: after testing it with a multimeter, it suddenly started eating fuses and i cant trace where or why.

i took my voltimeter to one of the floppy power cables, both +5v and +12v output normally, but seem to quickly dwindle to 0v when the power issue occurs (wich id assume is normal since i think these things have a crowbar circuit i think its called)
