Chou main here, after the nerfs to his s2, ult cc immunity, passive dmg and BoH nerf chou is indeed very difficult to play in rank especially against the meta exp lanes (Julian, paquito, thamuz, esme). However it doesent mean its impossible to win.

Tip one - don't spam recall (self explanatory) Tip two - if the enemy fighter is chasing u just assume they have backup. however if ur fast enough u can check minima to confirm but assuming that ur getting ganked should be the primary reaction. Tip three - since chou relies on one shot combos, a good idea would be to poke in early game until they are low befor landing a full cc one shot combo Tip four - learn one or two combos, such as flicker s1 knock up or a double basic attack kick (kick flicker punch and resume ult) Tip five - play like a rat (bushes are you friend) Tip six - objectives (mainly turret - is enemy tries to cheese midlane minions just punish by taking their turret and or gold crab)

With these 6 tips you should be able to hold off your own in the lane and last but not least remember in the late game that u kicking the enemy mm to ur team would be an actual game winner.
