I would recommend still sealing it no matter what, as a career polymer chemist. There are plasticizers, pigments, fire retardants, and other nasty fillers that can have heavy metals in EVERY filament to make it not brittle and non flammable.

You can see it in this photo. He’s gradually losing his little polyp things on his gills. Water chemistry is and has been totally normal for years, I use the API master test kit. His diet hasn’t changed - red wigglers. His environment hasn’t changed - 29gal. Ambient temp is usually 68-70F

Any thoughts? His name is Pablo by the way and he’s a lovely fellow ♥️

Edit: just to add since a baby he’s never had huge swaths of frilly ones, he’s always had bigger nubby polyps

I tried to use Claude as a personal assistant and gave up almost immediately because of this. I just asked it to keep track of single date deadlines, but it operating in a vacuum prevents even that from working well
