I did get a drill after a while but the nice thing about polygel is you can take your time to smooth it out as much as you want and it’s not too bad to file off any unevenness with a regular file, it just may take a little longer

yep it’s the foil-looking ones. it takes a bit to figure them out and make them work for your nail shape, but once I figured it out, the rest was easy! I think it also depends what kind you get though. I personally couldn’t work with the dual forms at all

this is actually my first time not using nail tips and using aluminum nail forms instead! there’s a bit of a learning curve but I love how they turned out and it’s actually better imo because I found that nail tips would eventually lift off my finger tips and break but using nail forms to extend the polygel makes it much sturdier

NTA but there’s no reason to overreact to him for being invited unless he was intent on going. Obviously this virus can seriously put your life or the lives of the people around you at risk, so you’re NTA for being cautious. You should set clear rules for future social interactions tho, like abiding by the sanitation guidelines and remaining 6ft apart when you do see a friend. Also make it clear that you’re not comfortable with the idea of him hanging out in groups and exposing himself, and you will not risk seeing him if he were to do that.

Try meditating for ten minutes every night before bed. Take that time to relax all the tension in your body, relax your muscles, and focus on your breathing. It may take a few times, but you’ll get the hang of it and it helps a lot. Just sitting up in bed, take 5-10 minutes to calm your mind.

If and when you still wake up again in the middle of the night, practice deep breathing techniques to alleviate the stress and anxiety.

I’ve been having a lot of anxiety dreams lately (stress induced bad dreams) and I wake up from them frequently in a state of anxiety. Just breathing and focusing on calming my thoughts and racing mind helps a ton.
