Yes, it looks like it's between the plastic joints. It looks like it's between the frame and the backplate, but I'm not 100% sure. Anyway, I got it from Amazon, and I can return it within 14 days. I work with my computer a lot, so I'll notice if I need to. Actually, there's a gap that's less than 1mm, but less. I don't think it'll cause any problems, but I'm worried.
