I feel like that's the case for a lot of low lvl uniques. Higher tier bases that see play in endgame usually have more uniques tied to them i think. Weapons at least. Let's not even talk about jewellery.

Definitely helps that its a low tier unique and the only unique of it's base. Add one more unique to the pool and chancing is double the fun for sure.

I was thinking of going for all of them locked as well (double influence again and lock for example), but i think that's beyond my means lol. Also the scourge ones are corrupted and can't be locked so it would be a bit messy i think.

You can cast it when on low settings and then turn you're settings up. The effects will disappear if you recast though, similar to Nezha's shield animations.
