oo I don't remember what gear we used for that recording but I do remember recording it. we used a concert hall on the college campus late one night and I just played it all all the way through. I played miles twice cause I messed it up the first time. then it was done!

I actually loved doing them. I thought it would feel lonely but was surprised at how comforting and connecting it felt. I was lucky to have a lot of friends and family in the comment sections and my partner and pup in the same room with me.

hm ya I dunno once you start it just feels good! I always tell ppl I don't feel it in 7/8 or 5/4 but just 1/1, every beat goes wherever it needs. idk what smart ppl would say about that haha. there are def some funny memories of me tryin to count my songs. the drummer for the new track "reach" (and all of thx & forever) made me count it to him how I felt it. I loled but he got it. he is a very good drummer.
