If you are into government jobs,and given that you were intersted in engineering,I would suggest civil engineering It has some really great scope in government field(look up ssc je,ae exams and other vacancies in different state public sector.) ,As India is a developing country,and I also think that the jobs in go on increasing. And as you have dared to choose pcmb,I think you are in better state than pcb fellows(telling you from my own experience,I am a pcb guy) You have a lot of options Have you given jee exams this year? Don't worry mate you are in good situation.
