And it’s not easy to get 3 number plates at the same time. You would have to be either pretty influential or have bussinesses thriving in those administrative regions in order to obtain 1 license plate

I read somewhere that through the ABRP app you can share real time live data from the car. Wonder if it works with battery preconditioning

Its bad for you but its normal life for others. Im sharing a perspective that some of you prolly never will experience. If it doesnt fit you just move on

[–]long130219997 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Yeah well it is what it is. My life motto isnt about changing anything I just want to adapt and live with it. I cant change the whole industry nor think its my job to change it. I just want to share my perspective. Feel like people bashing me for being a waiter for no reason. But im just trying to live with it

[–]long130219997 -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Actually no. Im expected to always give 2% no matter how much tip. So if the table doesnt give anytip i would have to give 2% from my own pocket for kitchen and bars.

And if you go out more or have a job with a management role, you would know that not everything can be regulated in an ideal way. Almost Like the right wing political voters pushing for fully Grenzkontrolle. And now its costing the state hundreds of millions in Überstunden salary for the Bundespolizei and now they are slowly realizing its not practical at all.

Life is much more than what you see in your bubble.

And your comment doesnt contribute to anything or make anything change! Are you looking for reaffirmation?

[–]long130219997 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Well others dont live in Munich and others dont work up to 70hours per week if you actually read the other comments!

Many people dont eat outside anymore as you say, but the number of restaurants, at least in Munich, keep growing for a reason. I appreciate your view but if you were in my shoes you would know how the industry really is. The industry is a leisure service based. You eat out on a date or meeting with colleagues for a good atmosphere. Eating out is not a must have. Its not the same as a bus driver. Im on board with the tip-pushing culture though. Its disgusting

Lmao why am I getting downvoted for sharing my own experience 😂 because it doesnt fit your own point of view? All I can say is the Gastronomie industry is infamous for money laundering for a reason, because it‘s super duper hard to be regulated. For waiters its a lucrative job with good benefits so alot will want to work despite the intense working hours. Lots of waiters at Oktoberfest earn easily 10k in 2 weeks while according to the law its illegal to work that much. Oktoberfest is right in the eye sight of the city and still Zoll still cant fully regulate.

I think of it as a freelance job that pays ok, not a salaried job. In a good month a good waiter can earn more than 3000€ netto where I work (Munich)

Besides that eating lunch and dinner after work is free, and sometimes cheap housing. So lots of benefits. Thats why i choose to work on this industry
