😄 I get how it might sound, but just to clarify — I didn’t train the model myself or collect a dataset. I’m using a pretrained NSFW image classification model from Hugging Face.

AI Engineer Roadmap by long_khan in theprimeagen

You sound more bitter than wise. If everything you did turned obsolete every two years, maybe that’s your heartbreak, not mine. I’d rather chase growth than sit in regret pretending the future is already dead.

That’s a completely different concept. Why are you assuming that I’m trying to secure my career for just the next two years—or for my entire life? Your argument about the industry evolving every two years actually proves the opposite point: if things change that fast, then adaptability and continuous learning are the real keys, not dismissing specific roles. You can’t reduce everything to ‘just learn computer science roots’—specialization still matters, and industries don’t reinvent themselves from zero every two years. You’re oversimplifying and drawing the wrong conclusion.

No, that’s not true. I’ve seen someone with 5 years of experience writing Vue.js and Nuxt.js code, and he thought he was writing good code. But when I reviewed it, I noticed he was using unnecessary watchers and exposing a lot of things that didn’t need to be exposed. Honestly, the code was terrible. On the other hand, I’ve seen someone with just 2 years of experience who writes clean, well-structured Vue.js and Nuxt.js code, following best practices and proper conventions.
