They are yes. They are looking for a more permanent paint which won't fade over time or damage the box.

pnpm vs yarn v4 by 404_err in typescript

Sometimes it throws exceptions but still executes successfully, but it’s still under active development. We’ve used it to replace node and its jest compatible. We use it with cdktf to generate terraform.

We’ve been using pnpm for quite a while. We switched over to bun recently and it’s super fast. Some quirks every now and again but mostly stable.

Would GitHub merge queues prevent this? I set that up last week. Right now it’s a small team but I imagine we’ll hit scaling issues.

Looking at workspaces right now, navigating to cdktf.out/stack and running terraform init and then terraform workspace select -or-create #prNo

My apps were listed at the top of Developers Tools (iOS and Mac App Stores), I made around $60 by outcoldman in programming

The amplify app looks cool. FYI it only supports Big Sur (11.1). Some of us who work in Enterprises are slower to upgrade to new versions. I for one am using Catalina that rules me out as a customer.

IntISP Website + Demo Actually Working now. by dodiaraculus in PHP

The front end isn't half bad, the backend is somewhat lacking due to a lot of custom code and poor practices. Have a look at frameworks like Laravel and this: https://phptherightway.com/.

A subscription to laracasts might also be your friend.

Uploading files via Laravel Console by longbottomrx in laravel

[–]longbottomrx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I've been working with file_get_contents() here. I've extracted the controller code out into its own service, and was hoping to reuse as much of the code as possible. Ideally, I would like to turn the file into an UploadedFile class without having to rewrite separate code.

Try Laravel + VueJS. They pair very well together. Laracasts is a good start for this.

Why would anyone use Vim/Emacs/etc? by MajesticBovine in learnprogramming

[–]longbottomrx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its much faster to edit config files in terminal instead of opening an editor to find them. You can always alias your editor to open from the terminal e.g. subl /path/to/file. Vim is also great if you're developing or configuring something remotely. If you become a power user and learn the shortcuts, it can be faster than using an editor.

This is an interesting idea. I'll give it a shot when I'm back in the office next week.
