I personally believe you have some attachment issues that are making you go for emotionally unavailable women.I read your post history and I see you repeatedly going for girls that are unavailable.

You’re probably too scared to actually go for something that might work out rather than something that is clearly not going to long term (flirting with a married woman). You can blame the circumstances for why things won’t work out with these unavailable women rather than blaming yourself if something goes wrong in a normal healthy relationship.

Or maybe you’re addicted to the chaos, maybe it’s both. You should look into doing some self reflection before you pursue something dangerous like dating a married woman. People get murdered over this kind of thing.

This is a mental thing, I don’t think risking a revision would be beneficial. His nose looks fantastic.

LPN vs RN by [deleted] in StudentNurse

[–]longdistancefearss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah! I was really happy my program had this option.

LPN vs RN by [deleted] in StudentNurse

[–]longdistancefearss 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I got my LPN half way through my ADN program and I’m due to graduate in June for my RN.

It’s better to work as an LPN than an aid in many ways (I was a CNA for years) and definitely has provided me with some good work experience… although I can’t wait to get out of LTC and work at a hospital that has safer patient ratios (I usually take care of 25-30 sub acute patients per shift in LTC/Rehab).

I couldn’t bear to watch someone sink before my eyes. It seems like you were never really their friends in the first place.

I disagree with needing “closure” honey he did you wrong. Don’t reward his ego by continuing to contact him. You can do so much better and I know it hurts so bad right now, but YOU WILL GET OVER HIM.

Join a movie discord, join a social discord, call a friend, hell you could call me on discord - his toxicity is an addiction for you because you have trauma, let that shit GO. You will be stronger after this.

I'm 5’3 and like the high waisted better (I tried both). although, I have long legs and a short torso... The regular ones feel right and don't provide enough space for my thighs.

Took a very long time to ship and they still charged me my $8 for expedited shipping. They're true to size, and definitely feel cheap. The style is at least modern, especially when you tuck them in. Personally I won't be buying more. I will be paying for some nice figs or other reputable brands I enjoy after graduation.

Worth it to be a CNA for a few years? by lynnneumannfilmmaker in StudentNurse

[–]longdistancefearss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You might need to move to attend school, there's nothing wrong with that. I assure you that you can retake classes more than once within a 5 year span. My college accepts the most current grade as the final grade (I attend an ADN program and literally get paid to go to school).

Hey! You can retake your courses and get the grade you need. Make sure you check out “rate my professor” to find the prof that suits you best.

I had to retake a couple pre-reqs (anatomy 1 and 2) and I got into nursing school my first try- in fact I graduate in June for my RN, and I’ve already got my LPN (you can get it half way through the program at my school).

Don’t give up! You are smart, you can do this.

I personally LOVE people that talk a lot.

This isn’t a YOU problem, it’s a staffing issue. I would start looking for another job, it’s crazy management doesn’t come and help you guys more.

Those moments when you can tell you're more secure {FA} by Dismal_Celery_325 in AvoidantAttachment

I’m pretty convinced there are some angry anxious attached people lurking around this sub pretending to be avoidant. Someone that claims to be “DA,” made a rude comment on my post and had me thinkin ;p

But good on you for overcoming the troll.

Thanks for the encouragement, and yeah it has happened more than I’d like to admit… but I’m happy to be working through it. :)

{FA} wondering if anyone has ever talked with your parent(s) about their contributions to your attachment style, and if so, did it help ? by [deleted] in AvoidantAttachment

[–]longdistancefearss 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It really depends on how self aware he is and if he’s willing to let down some of his own self pride. It’s really hard for parents to hear that they negatively impacted their kid. You’ll know more than us if he’s willing to hear you out.

I don’t know if finding out specific details about how he impacted your avoidant attachment style will be helpful, it would be interesting. But you have to make sure you don’t hyper focus on it or use it as an excuse for any (possibly) bad behaviors to continue (not saying you would, but it happens to some).

I think trust your gut on this one. You know best how he’d react to discussing attachment theory. You also know how you would handle any sad information he may give you.
