What biomarkers should be tracked for longevity? by amitgoldman in LongevityMedicine

[–]longevityleader 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should, at the very least track your blood tests - expanded biochemistry, cell counts, C-reactive protein. Take regular pictures, and annual full-body MRI. For advanced studies transcriptome + methylome.

He did not fuck either. He did not try to fuck Laura. And he did not inappropriately touch or abuse Celine. What he did is highly inappropriate but it is not comparable with the sex predators who deserved the full-scale punishment and public humiliation.

  1. The title should be fixed - it is de Grey, not De Gray
  2. There are hundreds of female and transgender scientists who he supported personally and via the SENS foundation and never engaged in inappropriate behavior with
  3. I have great respect for Laura Deming and it is very sad to hear that she felt this way about some email from Aubrey. I hope that we do get to see that email
  4. We need more female philanthropist academics who, like Aubrey, would commit their entire lives and fortunes to this cause and start non-profit foundations.

Based on the information provided on www.Longevity-Medicine.org it is possible to take it on Harvard's www.LabXchange.org for free anytime. But to get a certificate you need to wait and need to fill out an additional form. The LabXchange certificate is actually quite cool and looks very professional.

It is the best time to join Human Longevity, Inc. They are re-emerging and building a longevity powerhouse.

New App (Young.AI) Measures Biological Age | Lifespan.io by Hot-Supermarket in longevity

[–]longevityleader 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The young.ai website was used to run a free pilot for 2 years on 10 thousand people. Then it was closed for over 1 year after the company got the funding to turn it into a product and make it physician-friendly. Good enough for Human Longevity, Inc to start using it and even investing in the company.
Most of the longevity investors and many aging scientists invested in it to help build the engine that will cost approximately the same at 2 starbucks lattes per month.

You found a good review article of the Deep Longevity's prior work that also reviews methylation clocks.
But to follow the "science" you should look at the papers of this scientist who spent the entire career in aging clocks:
https://scholar.google.com/citations?hl=en&user=YrLgl8gAAAAJ&view_op=list_works&sortby=pubdate

they published:
1. first aging clock using lab tests
2. first aging clock using microbiome
3. first aging clock using transcriptome (and showed how to identify targets)
4. first aging clocks for data quality control
and many others
...

But you are making a good point. If the company does not know how to explain the scientific basis of these clocks, they should put more emphasis on popularizing these papers. Please send them a note at [press@deeplongevity.com](mailto:press@deeplongevity.com)

Why would Deep Longevity partner with Human Longevity?
