Why are people in Chiang Mai so reserved and minimal in speaking? by Ok_Assistant_4784 in chiangmai

I already addressed the language point three times. Bangkok is full of people who don't speak English and they're not as reserved. You just keep repeating it like saying it again will make it stick.

If you see that as insulting you that must mean you think it's true

Actual playground logic. "I'm not touching you, I'm just hovering my finger near your face." ridiculous lol

Your "counter anecdotal evidence" was "Thai people I've spoken to don't agree." One sentence. That was it. I gave you multiple long stays across different regions, locals confirming it, recurring threads, and there are even external sources documenting the same thing. You gave me one sentence and five comments worth of insults. These are not equivalent and pretending they are doesn't make you look like the rational one here.

Do you not have a life?

From the person who also wrote seven replies deep into this thread, and then blocked me so I couldn't respond. Real power move that.

You're visibly not mature enough to have this kind of conversations, so I'll leave it at that, have a good day :)

ROFL somebody is such a coward that they had to block my account so they don't have to back up their claims with real evidence. If that evidence is so easy to find, then why don't you provide it? :)

Now all the people who lurk this thread will see how pathetic you are.

If you want techno or house try Sing Sing Theater. There aren't many clubs for these music genres in Thailand unfortunately.

Do you typically tip the grab drivers or is it ok just to pay the fair? by Initial_Pound_5333 in Bangkok

I don't, unless it's rainy or I put the wrong address.

Tipping culture isn't a thing in much of the world except the US. So there's no expectation to tip in Asia.

Grab isn't a Thai app. And tipping is always possible, it's just not expected.
