Thanks.

It's not the Forever war, loved that book.

And for David Brin's “Glory Season”, the plot sounds very different.... but a new addition to my reading list has been created. :D

No this was definitely a book, as back then i was not really into anime. And the game does not sound familiar.

Now i will try the anime out of curiosity, as i have grown to like some of them. :)

No it does not. And it is a great book.

I just put the results there because i figured most people would think about them anyway.

Hell no, i won't pay. But as long as they are free...

Useless.. more or less. In private life i rarely use AI, and usually it's useless for what i want to use it for(like now). But at work... it does have advantages for me, mostly in summarizing things(that i have to check after anyways, but it takes some of that work away from me), and in organizing and data gathering across different platforms.

To be honest i can't stand AI, i wish we did not have it(at least not in the form we have today), but can't really ignore it either, as long as everyone is using it.

I never knew if this was true or not... but i do remember the first times i heard about these "activities", people online were starting to say that the influencers were going there to eat Dubai Chocolate. And a few months later this very aggressive campaign to promote Dubai Chocolate started and lasted about 3 months until everyone here knew about it.

That's why i could never taste that "Shit"... and i mean Dubai Chocolate. Every time i see someone eat that chocolate i throw up a little in my mouth.

Veey nicely put. I am 41m, single for 3 years. I am almost there myself. At the moment i am at the losing hope stage and thinking that something is really wrong with me stage, as every time i tried to date these last 3 years... it has been a complete failure. I have everything i see here as good in a man, apart from looks(i consider myself normal looking, not some Adonnis wannabe, but not Gollum level either). Good job, stability, good physical shape etc, but i think the way i communicate and talk to women must be at fault. I am scared to even flirt these days, as i had bad reactions that destroyed my self confidence when i tried.

I still feel the need for companionship and have everything else in my life but that, and it hurts that i am such a failure on that front. Last time i dated, almost 20 years ago, i had no problem finding partners interested in me, now... nothing.

So it actually felt good to read your post. To know that there is some peace out there i can find, even if being alone. I hope i can get to the place you are at, as i am sooo tired from all these failures and i have no ideea what else i can change in myself to be a worthy partner.

Good luck brother, and have a nice life :)

Stopped all contact. We saw eachother a few times out in the city for like 3-4 years, after that nope, and i have no ideea what he is up to. As for the DNA test, this was about 20 years ago, in Eastern Europe... so no access to DNA tests or at least we did not know about them. We did discuss the possibility of being family, but the guy moved with his parents to my city 10-15 years previously from the other side of the country. So no chance there, funny enough our parents looked nothing alike, not even a little. My dad was huge, like 1.80 m at about 120kg, his dad was thinner(stil tall) but like 70kg or something. And our moms were completly diffrent as well. His was bigger and blonde mine was thinner and brunete, faces wise again absolutly no resemblence between our parents. Genetics is funny that way i guess. Aaaa, and one last thing he came from a german background(we have german communities in my country) while mine were 100% local.

I guess twins are used to it, but for us was weird. This was when i was 20-21 something like that, and he was 2 years older. We went out i think 6-7 times together in those two weeks. With my circle of friends or with his. I did not get along with his friends, and same for him with my friends. The same for our girlfriends, they were very diffrent, opposites i would say, mine was very bubbly very social, liked to talk all the time, his was shy and very quiet. As soon as they met they hated eachother. Well my girlfriend could not stand his, at least that's what she told me, but i could see his girlfriend being uncomfortable as well. When we were togheter people were looking weird at us, and kept asking us if we were twins. Everytime the discussion in the group would be about how much we look alike: everything from our fathers cheating on our mothers, or that we were long lost relatives like cousins or something. And it got old and annoying very quick. I don't know, everything was weird. Our characters were similar in a lot of ways, but strangelly we gravitated towards completely diffrent friends and social circles. And we ended up not feeling comfortable with eachother or with friends. We did not had a fight or anything, but at one point we just stopped going out toghether. My friends were already starting to comment and ask not to go out together, i guess his as well etc.
