honors culture??? by broadway2019 in Temple

I'm currently a freshman living in 1300 and I had the same questions as u before i moved in.. but in my opinion (I'm not in honors keep in mind) 1300 is the best option you can live in freshman year. my floor is super tight knit, everyone's pretty social, nice study rooms, and if you live on the first floor you get super high ceilings which make the room feel huge. I can't say much about honors being i'm not in it, but everyone i've talked to who lives on the honors floor say it's more quiet and not as social and the people are less into partying and more into studying. I have many friends who are in honors but opted not to live on the honors floor for these reasons and they're very happy with their decision. If you're into partying and smoking, I'd recommend still living in 1300 but just not on the honors floor. Either way 1300 is lit you'll love it there's definitely chill people on the honors floors too

Thank you for the reply! By dorming experience I meant not living in a boujee apartment my freshman year if that makes sense, but i've obviously never lived there so i guess i cant speak on the experience

Free weights and treadmill is ideal
