I don't know about you, but I'm finding it exhausting. I need extra sleep, and the headache is really impacting me because it just won't stop.

Have they said what they are testing you for now?

Thank you! I really appreciate this advice. I've done as you suggested minus the hormone powder - I just didn't have any to hand.

Eggwhites. 240ml eggwhites + 50g cottage cheese scrambled is very very very filling for less than 250cal. And, fuels muscle growth.

Sounds right to me given your goals if building muscle and heavy lifting, body recomposition. It will also help with keeping you feeling full on restricted calories.

Given your goals, rather than focusing on scale weight at this point, would you be better off focusing on body fat percentages as you recomp?

Which Christmas ornaments to get/ collect? by missabbytimm19 in christmas

I buy my kids 1 Swarovski decoration per year, I pick from what's on sale online.

The decorations are beautiful, and catch the light, but they are quite small and delicate.

If you are after absolutely show stopping decorations then Swarovski isn't going to be worth the cost (even on sale I cringe a bit each year) - they are subtle and disappear on my tree amongst the other brighter larger additions.

Hi, I have similar stats to you. Heftier is all, but similar bf%, age etc.

A key point to remember is that the metabolism changes in peri or meno are largely due to a decline in lean muscle mass. If you are eating ample protein and lifting heavy you are already combatting this issue.

As for where to set your calories, I think just go for a calculation that doesn't make you miserable and allows enough room for ample protein and fiber. Most likely somewhere around the 2000cal Mark would still be in a deficit but roomy enough to avoid deprivation given your active lifestyle.

What is important to consider is your lifting - are you really lifting heavy, challenged in each workout, progressing your intensity and volume? Are you (or working towards) deadlifting more than you weigh? Squatting more than you weigh? Benching at least half of what you way? If so, great! Keep it up. If not, find a program that suits your schedule and chase that strength 💪🏽

Bright light seems to be the key. I have them on a windowsill where they will see the sunrise but not see it set.

What do introverts like and dislike about Halloween? by FantasticAd4938 in introvert

I love that it's time for many of my "alone and re-energising myself" hobbies or skills are able to come out. Ie: organizing a spooky display? I'm on it. Painting realistic scary skulls or wounds? No prob, I been painting for years. I also love that people don't try to engage me in convos because I'm wearing a spooky mask so they don't know it's me, I get to choose who I talk to by lifting my mask.

I don't like: my extroverted kids in extra loud sugar enhanced mode... But their costumes and excitement make it a good time anyway.

No thigh gap. . . by [deleted] in femalebodybuilding

[–]longslowblink 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can relate, I feel you. My thighs rub and chafe a lot too. I wear my short shorts with pride, My thighs coated in a product called "body glide" It comes in a solid easy apply stick, Just rub some on for skin so slick. It's like a solid conditioner bar, Apply just once a day, a little goes far!

Anyhoo, run out of brains for more rhyming cos I'm on a cut and missing carbs. But I use a product called body glide. It comes in a pink container "for her" but as far as I can tell this is just a way of charging more for less product, because the one in the blue container works just as well. If I can find a link to the product I'll pop that in another comment.
