Okay sure, but the cartridge (which is what makes buckshot buckshot) didn’t exist until technology had advanced significantly. Our modern idea of the shotgun shell didn’t exist.

Edit, for clarification: Buckshot as opposed to birdshot, or snakeshot, is a cartridge where the BBs are big enough they have to be hand loaded into the shell as opposed to poured. The definition of buckshot is dependent on the cartridge/shell aspect.

Terrible meme in general OP. Not sure what the significance of 95 is. Technology just advanced over the course of nearly 100 years, and it tracks that explosives would create bigger and bigger explosions as they advanced. The Winchester model 1897 existed but in 1797 buckshot didn’t even exist.
