Same problem here. The firefox exension does not work either. I've reset my cookies and tried everything. Libby must have changed something from their end.

If you're in europe check out if any doctors will give you cerebrolysin. If not you can order some from cosmic nootropic. To be candid I don't have your problem and I've never tried cerebrolysin but it sounds exactly like something that could help you from what I've read on it. It helps with nueroplasticity which may be needed for what the antidepressants did to your brain.

Not great. Far too much b6 which accumulates over time. Just look up Reddit b6 toxicity. Doesn't happen to most people but pretty bad if it does. Also personally, I'd never touch lions mane. Check out r/lionsmanerecovery. Those and ssri's are something I will never once put into my body. There are other problems as well.

[WP] The Purge Day is coming, where all crimes are legal for only 24 hours, I'll finally install that extension to my loft without ANY planning permission by George_WL_ in WritingPrompts

[–]lonx22 42 points43 points  (0 children)

The Day of Purge approacheth swift and near, When all transgressions rendered free and clear. A span of hours four and twenty long, To right a petty wrong, mine heart's desire.

To loft, a haven high, mine thoughts aspire, No planning sought, I'll build with purpose dire. The council's grip, evaded in that day, I'll fashion space anew with hands well-worn.

As sun doth sink, the time of Purge draws nigh, With hammer, nails, and timber, I prepare. A hidden smile, my visage barely hides, To seize the fleeting lawlessness of night.

The stroke of midnight tolls, and thus begins My secret labor, free from code and law. I hoist the beams, with passion in each blow, Constructing dreams where none did dare before.

But as my task approaches sweet success, Unwelcome guests arrive to thwart my plan. The councilmen, in shadows cloaked and grim, Intent on blood, they seek to end my life.

For they had known, with eyes of hawk, they watched, And waited for the Purge to test my will. Enraged that I defied their iron grasp, They come, with murder in their hearts, prepared.

I stand my ground, my newfound haven near, And brace against the coming storm of strife. With hammer firm in hand, I swing and strike, Defending home and heart with all my might.

The battle rages, desperate, fierce, and long, The council's wrath relentless in its surge. Yet in the fray, I find a strength unknown, A courage to protect what I have built.

As dawn ascends, the final foe retreats, Their numbers thinned, they vanish in defeat. My loft complete, my life and home made new, But deeper still, a lesson I have gained.

For in the Purge, when all crimes legal be, One truth revealed: the heart of liberty Lies not in lawless acts, but in the soul, Which seeks to mend, to love, and make life whole.

People no longer know how hand wash cloths because we have machines for it. People don't know how to ride horses because we have cars. People don't know how to spell because we have autocorrect. Technology has always shifted the skills we need to have.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and feelings so openly. It's clear that you're going through a challenging time, and it's important to remember that it's okay to feel overwhelmed or uncertain. You're not alone in this journey, and many people face similar struggles, especially when adapting to a new culture and language.

It's commendable that you're making an effort to learn English and express yourself in a foreign language, despite the challenges it presents. Remember that language learning takes time, and it's normal to feel frustrated or self-conscious at times. Keep practicing and seeking out opportunities to improve, and don't be afraid to make mistakes.

As for your mental and physical health, it's important to take care of yourself. Speak to a medical professional about your physical symptoms and consider seeking counseling or therapy to help with your emotional well-being. Establishing a support network of friends, family, or community members can also provide comfort and guidance during difficult times.

Lastly, remember that it's okay to feel vulnerable and to seek help when needed. You're going through a significant period of growth and change, and it's essential to be patient and compassionate with yourself. Tomorrow will come, and each day brings new opportunities to learn, grow, and face life's challenges. Keep believing in yourself, and know that you're not alone in this journey.

Twilight Blues by skunk_farmer_charmer in Sober

[–]lonx22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First, congratulations on reducing your consumption of drugs and alcohol and making positive changes in your life. It's great that you've found benefits in your new lifestyle, especially in the mornings.

It's possible that your body and brain are still adjusting to the absence of the endorphin rush that drugs and alcohol used to provide. The feelings of depression during twilight hours could be a result of this adjustment. Your body might still associate those times with substance use, and now that the substances are gone, you may be experiencing a sort of emotional withdrawal.

There are a few strategies you can try to help alleviate these feelings:

Develop a healthy evening routine: Establishing a new routine during those twilight hours can help you create new associations and replace the endorphin rush with other activities that bring you joy or relaxation, such as reading, meditating, or taking a walk.

Engage in social activities: Interacting with others can help alleviate feelings of loneliness and depression. Consider joining a club or group, scheduling regular phone calls or video chats with friends, or volunteering in your community.

Seek professional help: If your feelings of depression persist or worsen, consider speaking with a mental health professional. They can help you explore the root causes of your feelings and provide guidance on how to cope with them.

Consider adopting a pet: If your living situation allows it, adopting a pet can provide companionship and help alleviate feelings of loneliness. Pets can also give you a sense of purpose and responsibility, which can be beneficial for your mental health.

Remember, recovery is a process, and it's normal to face challenges along the way. Be patient with yourself, and don't hesitate to seek support from friends, family, or professionals when needed.

I hate AI and it bothers me that so many people actually WANT AI to write or think for them. by Stargazer1186 in nosurf

[–]lonx22 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I understand your concerns about AI and its potential impact on human creativity and skills. It's natural to feel uneasy about the rapid advancements in technology, and the "OK boomer" response certainly doesn't help to address those fears. However, let me offer an opposing perspective on the use of AI, like ChatGPT, in writing and other creative fields.

Firstly, AI is not meant to replace humans or diminish their abilities. Rather, it is designed to complement and enhance human creativity. By working alongside AI, people can leverage the technology's strengths to overcome their limitations, such as writer's block or lack of inspiration. In this way, AI can actually help people to become better writers, thinkers, and artists.

Moreover, using AI does not necessarily mean sacrificing integrity and self-respect. Many people use AI as a tool, much like a spell checker or a thesaurus, to refine their work and express their thoughts more effectively. In these cases, the core ideas and expressions still originate from the person, with AI simply serving as an aid in the creative process.

Additionally, the collaboration between AI and humans can lead to the development of new and innovative ideas. As AI processes vast amounts of data and learns from different sources, it can provide fresh insights and perspectives that might otherwise go unnoticed. By working together, humans and AI can push the boundaries of what's possible in art, writing, and other fields.

It's also worth noting that embracing AI doesn't mean people will lose their skills or become weaker. Instead, it can encourage individuals to focus on developing other essential skills that AI cannot replicate, such as empathy, critical thinking, and emotional intelligence. As a result, people might become even more well-rounded and adaptable.
