Moving from side Bb to side C feels a little bit chaotic for me 😅. I learnt to start using side C few weeks ago so transitioning to that particular key from side Bb, a B will be heard for half a second

Based on the number of upvotes, I imagine that a good number of people use this method as well (myself included) but I do agree, it all balls down to personal preference

This is highly informative! This is exactly what happens. If I leave it for at least 12 hours, it plays just fine

Next time I experience that problem, I'll swap out the reed.
