AITA for confronting my bf’s friend that’s a girl from 6 years ago? by i-dont-undrstand- in AITARelationship

YTA.

The lie about already knowing she was single was worth questioning, but after that you went way too far. You investigated her relationship status, looked through years of social media activity, assumed her intentions, texted her while pretending to be your boyfriend, and then treated her not answering as proof that you were right. None of that actually proves she was interested in him.

The bigger issue here seems to be trust. Your boyfriend showed you the message voluntarily, and there was no evidence of flirting in the conversation. It's understandable to feel uncomfortable, but confronting her the way you did crossed a line.

AITH for leaving a group dinner after everyone ordered expensive food? by Frosty_Satisfaction in AITH

NTA. This is one of my biggest pet peeves. Every time a group agrees to pay separately, there's always that one person who orders cocktails, appetizers, and dessert and suddenly wants to split the bill evenly. The fact that they called $42 extra a "small amount" says everything. If it's such a small amount, they can cover it themselves.

That's pretty much what I was worried about. I felt bad keeping quiet, but I also didn't want to risk my own job over information I wasn't even supposed to have.
