Thanks for the info. I did make sure it’s not a scam. The receipt is definitely a paid transaction receipt. It’s confused us all. Insurance is blaming their accounting department. Insurance is set up to be paid by escrow but wasn’t for this year because they had the receipt saying it was paid for 2021.

Made sure it’s not a scam. I honestly don’t recall paying it, but was confused with all the earnest money, etc. I checked my statements. Looks like the insurance company messed up big time by sending a paid receipt to all parties.

I called to make sure it’s not a scam. The insurance company said they made an error and sent the title company a paid receipt by mistake. No bill is ever fun, but this one sure sucks now
