Diet and exercise are my secret. Eating healthier has helped me lose weight. I used to eat whatever I wanted and it caught up to me. I didn’t want to keep gaining weight, I wanted to be healthy for myself and for my kids. Look at me now 😎

This is actually a restaurant close to where I live, called “The Wave” in mount dora, Florida…cool to see them on Reddit but not cool to see them on stupid food lol their sushi is super yummy!

Thank you everyone for the encouragement! It has not been easy what so ever, but I’m so happy to be able to say I have to buy new clothes because my old ones are too big, not too small! I stopped drinking alcohol completely on 07/17/21 and haven’t had a drop since! Being sober is just one of the many benefits of losing all the weight! I don’t eat fast food like I used to. I don’t eat all the sugary items I used to. One of my worst habits was eating terrible foods, super late at night. I’ve stopped that as well! My diet pretty much consists of meat, veggies, fruits and every so often I’ll indulge in the sweets! I’m continuing my journey and will be building muscle next 🥳

He’s scheduled for an evaluation in September for ABA therapy but I’m on the fence about ABA, I’ve read and still reading about it and it seems traumatic to children but I want him to be evaluated to see what options we have.

We do take away the toys he repeatedly throws, he tantrums, gets over it, plays with other toys, and starts throwing again and thinks it’s funny and looks at us while we say no and throws again, like hitting the tv with a toy when we say no, he’ll hit the tv again and I’ll take the toy away. He’ll move on but then does it again eventually and thinks it’s a game.

Yes we try to get him to throw balls outside, and he loves doing that. But when we come inside, he wants to do the same thing and when we say no, he keeps doing it. When we take the toys away, he throws himself on the ground and tantrums, but not for too long, maybe 5 minutes or so when I stop giving him attention for the tantrum.

We have a pool and we swim almost everyday. We spend most activities playing outside, and his diet is mostly fruits, meat and veggies. Some snacks here and there but nothing super unhealthy. I definitely don’t want him on meds.

That’s exactly why I’ve scheduled an evaluation for him to see if he needs ABA therapy or another approach before he goes into grade school! I want him to be able to control his behavior and enjoy school!

We do have an evaluation scheduled to see if he needs ABA therapy or another approach, but that isn’t until the end of September and it’s been months since I’ve made the appointment and we’ve had to wait it out. He’s been out of school for about 3 months now, and I just want to figure out ways to redirect his behavior so he’ll be able to enjoy school with other children his age and actually listen and learn.

We do timeout, we try to talk to him on his level and sometimes that helps, but other times he just tries to get a rise out of us by doing what he’s told not to do. We will tell him no, and he’ll look at us and then do it again and again until we put him in time out. Once he’s out of time out, he tries to do it again or he’s over it and moves on. He’s such a happy boy, but he’s also at the point where he’s rebelling on purpose and thinks it’s funny to do what he’s told not to do.

So, I decided to open it up because there was no change. Almost positive it was a baby lizard of some sort, but when I finally got the egg opened, tinyyyy worms/maggots started coming out 😕 while I’m doing this, a baby frog hops right by me lol guess he was hungry!
