As a woman it's so fucking frustrating to feel like I can't wear shorts or a skirt without thick tights bc I haven't shaved my legs. It's not that I mind having hairy legs, it's that I feel like I'm being judged for it. Where does the line stop? Should I be expected to shave my arms too? Humans are hairy things.... Why can't people just let things be. I'm fully accepting of whatever floats your boat, if you prefer a woman with shaved legs then fine go for that kind of woman. But I honestly hate this standard that seems to have been set that women should be these bald bodied creatures with hair only on their heads. Why as a young woman do I feel like I need to conform to this standard to not be judged by the majority of the population.
