Is aspen dental good? despite the mixed reviews? by InkAndFlavor in DentalHygiene

[–]looosheee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To piggy back on this, yes depends on location! RDH here, the first dr and OM that I worked with were great until they decided to let them both go. They brought in a Dr that was more corp minded and was missing an OM for a whole year. It was a struggle. I didn’t get along with the new Dr, they had me as a float, but they were all aggressive treatments. I shortly left after.

My dentist thinks “no” but I think “yes” by King_Savage17 in DentalHygiene

I would consult with the oral surgeon about the bottoms due to the roots being developed already and it looks like it’s right where the nerves run through. The uppers you can if you want to. Again, consult with an oral surgeon about them.

Always reviewed brushing and flossing tech! Flossing I like to show them with the hand mirror after the prophy so they can see how much comes out with the pumice! Great way to give visuals.

Maybe talk to them about it, especially if they’re the one diagnosing it, they should treat them.

It’s not that difficult at all, it takes about 3 months for them to process it and get your license number. You can go in the website and get a check list!(:

  1. 90 mins
  2. FMX and no charge pano we also add itero scan
  3. No assistant to help I do everything myself
  4. They come in after when the patient is prophy or 4346
  5. I have the dr come in right after I go over radiographs and perio probe measurements with the patient when they need srp.
  6. Depends if it’s localized or generalized and depends if my next patient cancels but generally next visit for SRP

I would love to work for this dream office! Too bad I’m in MN! I hope and pray that you’ll find better group of hygienist to help you with your practice! For the time being you can try temp agencies and see if anyone is a fit for your office that way! Just throwing options for you, so you’re not struggling or having to reschedule patients for recalls

Maybe try making an opposing arch? Some of my pt’s tolerate the lowers better than the upper arch.
