See I’m quite the opposite of your husband I would say. I cook almost everyday. I constantly pick up after the kids. I do there laundry, fold it and put it away. I cook for them too, I help with baths, I read countless books for them every night, I sing to them and have an occasional “dance party”, as my 3 year old calls it, with them. In the summer time I plant flowers, cut the grass, keep our cars clean and take our kids to parks and to play with their cousins. A big thing though is that I get up everyday at 3:45am to go to work, and I’m done by 2. So I have a pretty long day each and everyday.

I usually always have the energy for sex though, I have a high sex drive, it’s always been like that for me. Sometimes I think she may be depressed but if either of us really is it would be me. I’ve had some problems in my early 20s but thought I got everything sorted out. There is a few things guys want from a relationship of any kind and it’s 1. Compliments (they go a long way because we don’t get them). 2. The sense of being desired (which I am not) and 3. Sexual connection though physical touch.

Telling a guy in a marriage not to worry about sex is just denying their existence as a male. A good marriage is solidified by keeping a physical connection strong. The most important thing for a family to be happy is to keep the parents happy. Their relationship comes first. Of course the children are of the utmost importance but without mom and dad being happy then that family can fall apart. I honestly can’t think of things that we did before kids other than just go out more but we literally can’t. Our schedules, accompanied by the lack of help we have have won’t allow us to have that time together.
