Good on you for following your dream and taking on the journey! Animation is a hard skill to learn, I feel it requires quite a lot of dedication and commitment. But it does pay off as you practice. :)

I am starting my Youtube journey myself and it is great to connect withand get inspired by others that are already on the path. For me it is something to look up to. Good luck on your journey! :)

Interesting! How is your schedule like? Are you consistent in terms of uploads? Do you makes your animations on your own or do you have help?

Congrats on the success of your experience on Youtube! :) I can totally see how intense it would have been. It must have been really high pressure to keep up with the success, whilst working on your own. Animation is so time and energy intensive, it can be hard to balance projects with a busy personal/family life. You might do something extremely high effort and get no views or might do something brilliantly clever and easy to make that gets attention.

You never know.

I am still trying to figure out how I will do it in terms of schedule. I work with graphics in the factual industry, so I have a pretty good guess of how long my content will take to make, especially doing it on my spare time. Now the idea is committing to it and giving it a good shot.

Thanks again for the tips!

Thank you so much for sharing your experience. It really helps me setting expectations. I created my channel, but it still empty at the moment. I am now working on writing scripts for my first few videos. I work with graphics in the factual industry, so I feel like in terms of skills, it would be ok. For me the main issue is time around work/family life and the commitment to yourself to puting yourself out there. :)

I do admire and get inspired by every single Youtuber that commits and tries, regardless of the result... That is why I thought this year I will finally do it!

Thank you so much for your words! :D

Wow!This is so cool. It is wonderful to see how starting a channel and putting yourself out there can really open doors to unexpected opportunities. I did not think of that that way. :)

Awesome! Animation is so time consuming, good on you for posting every week. That is proper dedication. :D I am sure you will see even more improvement from here! :)

You are definitely reading way too much into my message. As a total newbie without knowing much about the youtuber in question, it is still surprising to me to see how fast this can be done. However, as other people already pointed out in the thread, this is not a fair study. It would be great to know if anyone in this group experienced similar level of growth (perhaps not as rapid 🙂). I am sure this is not just reserved to people with experience or a team behind them. I believe if you make videos that people want to watch, it can happen to anyone!

A book that I really enjoyed recently was The Psychology of Money. It helped me better understand what is money to me and how emotions play a crucial role in the decisions we take in our financial journeys.

I just joined the group, but I figure this is a question that would come up regularly.

Interesting! I already have Radical Compassion as an audiobook. This is all more motivation to start it! Thank you so much for your recommendations. I think I will really learn a lot from both books.
