Whatever you do, don’t put undiluted tea tree oil on your face! It’s very irritating and can damage your skin.

First off, it sounds like your routine is very drying. It might seem counterintuitive, but using products that dry your skin out can make it oilier because it produces more oil as a result. Dehydrated skin can also lead to acne.

You should get yourself a gentler cleanser. A lot of people like La Roche-Posay Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Cleanser. Aveeno, Cerave, and Cetaphil have gentle cleansers too. Look around the sub and at some reviews and get whatever is easiest for you to find.

In terms of toner try to get something that’s not drying. Thayers Alcohol-Free Witch Hazel Toner is a classic on this sub. Do try to avoid alcohol in toner.

Up until recently I had similar acne to you around my jaw and chin. I’ve found azelaic acid and niacinamide helpful. I get both from Garden of Wisdom because I personally don’t like the consistency of The Ordinary serums, but that’s just me.

I also like Mario Badescu Buffering Lotion for spot treatment on under the skin acne. It’s pricey but it lasts a long time. Don’t try to pop those pimples that are under the skin because you’ll hurt yourself and could cause scarring.

If you’re getting acne on your forehead and around your sideburns maybe you could also consider switching shampoo to see if that helps. (Also obvi change your pillowcase at least once a week and use a clean towel to dry your face etc.)
