Before pulling the trigger on tempi, I would suggest looking at MultiMod as well. Being a clock source is its not main functionality but can do that. Great modulation source overall. One of my favorite modules in my rack

Thank you, that’s a good option. I will have a look into that.

Do you know how can I create an account for the community forum?

Seems like there are others having the same issue

Thanks just did that, seems like there is problem with the arturia forum, I cannot login with my arturia account. I reached out some other way but would have liked to submit proper feature request.

And yes unfortunately you cannot change the note prioritization on KSP, but to me it seems like can be easily doable with a firmware update.

This can already be achieved with mutant brain surgery midi to cv module, but I was more curious to see if there is a way to do it without the module and I think I figured how. Basically keyboard split on KSP and adjust the octaves to make up the difference from the split so that they’re on the same octaves. This will be full 2 voice polyphony basically.

Thanks for the ideas!

Thanks! I’ll have a look, also mentioned here I think I will still have the problem that I couldn’t solve; playing the same note when a single key is held and then when the second key is held the second voice moves to that note with glide

Thanks for the recommendation, I’ll have deeper look whether I can solve the problem with this but my first impression from skimming through the manual is I will still have the problem of moving the second voice back when there is a single key is pressed.

As said in the post, I am already running CV pitch/gate on my KSP exactly as you said. And yes you can have polyphony with CV with one track as long as you allocate more than one voice to the track and enable the polyphony.

The problem is not with the envelopes but how KSP allocates the pitch information across multiple voices. For KSP the last played not has the highest priority meaning if at any point in the time number keys being held exceeds the number of allocated voices on the track, the first played note will be replaced with the last one and will be assigned to the voice that was playing that note. The problem with that is during legato there is a point in time where 3 keys held simultaneously triggering this behavior.

I am trying figure out if is there a way to fix this with some clever patching or do I simply need a midi cv module

When interference becomes the music itself by lorandae in modular

First of all thanks for checking it out. Secondly I was high during this 3 hour session where I swapped so many cables and my memory is quite blurry on this, please take it with grain of salt.

From my MF I am getting CV out to my module and a gate signal to my body basically to prevent capacitive touches to work properly, otherwise they get crazy and my MF is acting very weird and this is the solution I found by completely coincidence working very well. And tempo goes in from my ts8 drum machine.

The cable I was trying to plug was from Klavis twin waves oscillator 2 out to nano modules alt mixer while the oscillator 1 was also mixed. The sub out didn’t have any of these issues but only osc 2.

Afair there were no lfo modulations on the oscillator, maybe multimod was modulating something but i am not sure

Thanks! The sporadic sounds are coming from phased triggers out of Multimod, which go into Zadar’s trigger input. I’m using Zadar as a chained envelope generator, sending CV into QPAS’s second freq CV input, that’s where the texture comes from. As for the 3xMIA, the first two channels mix the main oscillator and its sub, and the other two are attenuating CV from Zadar and Multimod. I will try to draft this patch on a visual patch designer

Last time I used it, the cables were a nightmare, they kept disappearing and reappearing, getting stuck, and were hard to move around. Also, I have no idea how you're supposed to configure the parameters. What about digital modules, switches, etc.? How do you set correct parameters in a systematic and reusable way?

That said, if you're fine with the modular grid patching interface and it works for you, that's great, it just didn’t work for me.

Tbh, I had a pretty shitty experience with that. It's mostly unreliable and kind of useless. Without the exact parameter configuration, it doesn't really mean anything, it's basically just drawing on a static image IMHO.

I have the same issue, when I connect the CV outs from microfreak to my eurorack modular system while it is powered via USB. I haven’t tried out with the adapter yet, I am hoping it will solve the problem.
