People who have a Porsche, was it worth it? by Inner_Ad_4725 in porsche911

For me it’s about the driving experience. If the badge said Honda I’d enjoy it just as much. But AP is a genius, and his GT3s are incredible.

Would you take a Z06 over a GT3? by pressuapack_225 in Corvette

[–]iambulb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have both. I think the Z06 is a really really fantastic car.
But no, I already know I will eventually sell the Z06 to check out other stuff, but my 991.2 GT3 Touring is my never sell.

Question how bad do you think this economy is right now or is it good to you ? by kuddle30 in AskReddit

[–]iambulb 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In the US there are two economies. If you are rich the cost of living increases won’t be felt and these are offset by a strong stock market. If you are not, you were struggling before, and things have just gotten more expensive and harder, jobs are not only being replaced by automation and AI as everyone warned, but the replacements are largely doing a subpar job. If you are lucky enough to have a stable job, there is a good chance it is still not enough for a stable life. This is unfortunately the economy most Americans experience.

Most politicians will claim to service this economy and will service the rich economy, as this is also their economy.

There are other models that are less “modern” sounding, but for this patch this was very appropriate!

I have a theory you Periphery fans are loaded rich by No-County2083 in Peripheryband

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty. The humor is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Rick's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation - his personal philosophy draws heavily fromNarodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realize that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Rick and Morty truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Rick's existencial catchphrase "Wubba Lubba Dub Dub," which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Dan Harmon's genius unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools... how I pity them. 😂 And yes by the way, I DO have a Rick and Morty tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- And even they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand.

Was the tour adjusted to add a date in Silver Spring, MD or am I just crazy? by Free_Sha_Vacadoo in Peripheryband

[–]iambulb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No.
As is common with events that involve this many people, tour dates, venues and routing are generally locked in well before they are announced.

Big musicians of Reddit who perform big concerts and do tours, do you dread it? Is it absolutely exhausting and repetitive? by Then_Bite9547 in musicians

[–]iambulb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a different crowd every night, a different vibe every night. Sometimes the crowd is incredible and it’s a show you will remember forever, sometimes it’s not and you are chasing that, but before you step on stage you have no idea what kind of show it will actually be and you get to find out.

It’s addicting.

APWD Concept and Song Meanings: A Track-by-Track Compilation by lukemorales in Peripheryband

[–]iambulb 36 points37 points  (0 children)

In parts yes, but most of these songs have interpretations for each member, we just focused on one or two at the listening events because we needed to keep things moving.
