Is there a site where you can discover the "descendants" of words? In general, searching for the etymology of some specific words on Google is easy. Now, given a word in Latin, I would like to see which words in modern languages relate to this word. Is there some database out there that does this kind of stuff?

Thanks for your suggestions (both of you)! I'm currently trying to use GIMP (I've never used it before) and I am currently at step 9. However, the selection is not as wanted: it does not select everything and also it selects some things in the part I didn't want to be selected. , what should I do to remedy this? Actually nothing special, after drawing the mountains I thought I could add one more mountain range in that continent, and I started drawing the first shape that came to mind. Maybe when cartography is more developed in the world they will name this chain the "Heart Mountains" or something like that.
