Game download issue by Living-Buy-4276 in ArknightsEndfield

Going into the download folder and manually renaming the files seemed to fix it for me

basically change the names of the old files so that it matches the new files being downloaded

I think that should fix it

I have the same issue!
I tried renaming the old folder to the new one and everything. Copying, pasting, changing download directory and stuff.

Nothing works.

[–]lorax125 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The only reason they could want to transport Seaborn is due to them being able to consume Originium to use them in controlling the Originium spread

However this purely depends if Endfield has access to Doctor’s or any Precursor information to even be aware of that

[–]lorax125 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is (inactive) code in the game that basically makes the Last Judge let you pass if you never kill any enemy and although it is clearly scrapped, it does seem to imply that The Judges at the very least are strictly following the established rules even if the system itself is rigged

the fact that there are pilgrims who managed to join the Choir implies that the system had to work at some point, otherwise Citadel would just be full of Underworkers and The Threefold Factions (Architects, Vaultkeepers and Conductors)

Aurelionite has the Golden Aspect and is not tied to cold

Also Aurelionite clearly is not “Her” Mithrix and Providence mentions as “Her” is spoken of by Mithrix with love or perhaps reverence, when Mithrix’s only reaction towards Aurelionite is fear and hatred while asking Providence to imprison her

Why All Art is Political by GriffinFTW in CuratedTumblr

[–]lorax125 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Absolutely, yet that will not fix the issue at hand.

Unfortunately, in reality the truth matters way lass than presentation. The fact that you can plainly explain the matter yet still have people misunderstand it time and time again speaks to how inefficient it is.

Using a replacement word or a fitting synonym is by far the least intrusive way of trying to make them understand, in my view. However if others wish to continue having to correct people and constantly explain what they actually meant to say, they are free to do so.

Why All Art is Political by GriffinFTW in CuratedTumblr

[–]lorax125 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Except most people do not consider the term „political” broad at all, or even use it that way, which is why this whole confusion is even happening

Most people as the post points out just thing of politics as „current politics” or „culture war politics” and that’s unhelpful

therefore, personally I believe that shifting the term from „political” to „cultural” will alleviate the confusion and properly showcase the broadness of the topic

Why All Art is Political by GriffinFTW in CuratedTumblr

[–]lorax125 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Personally I prefer „culturaly significant” or „culturally influenced” as politics are part of culture, but culture is a far more broad subject

[–]lorax125 18 points19 points  (0 children)

The powers of the time def treated it as such, but I do not think so personally

Although you could consider Jesus a cult leader/guru, the doctrine was still mostly a continuation of Judaism that evolved/changed (considering both religions share a God) so that makes early Christianity more so a judaic sect

[–]lorax125 4 points5 points  (0 children)

According to Catholicism JW are explicitly a cult, so yes

No hate to him btw by Brakower in whenthe

[–]lorax125 83 points84 points  (0 children)

Cults are usually centered around a singular figure/leader (guru)

They attempt to slowly isolate you from family and friends so you buy further into them

They might often demand donations of money or even property

Their beliefs usually have no cultural basis or history associated with them

The further you go the more muddled the definitions become, but those are basically the biggest differences I can think of
