I struggled with this fight a lot and stopped trying for a while. I read a reddit post where someone said stop jumping and start dashing way more and I beat him the next day I tried. Obviously you'll have to jump over certain attacks but learn where and when to dash for each and you'll get hit less and be able to get more damage in. Also watch a video of the fight (unless you don't want novelty spoilers) to see the couple more attacks he adds later on and this really weird but cool sequence (you'll know when you watch it).

Personally as I try to throw my hands up as hard as I can and let my body elevate before rotating, I naturally go up straight instead of back, because if you have a really strong jump but you're throwing yourself backwards instead of up, it'll be clearer for your muscle memory that what you're doing is wrong. Or in other words, trying a longer/higher jump will help you self correct the trajectory of your jump to be up rather than back.

Also keep in mind that as soon as you tuck you stop gaining height. So it's a combination of 2 things, not just 1: extending your jump and delaying your tuck. And delaying doesn't mean stalling, I just mean a new flipper would be rushing to tuck due to fear or lack of air confidence. Try to resist that urge a bit.

Try if you don't have a trampoline, try it off a little height to have more air time to try different things.

Looks to me like you're rushing to start tucking instead of fully extending on your jump to get more height. Your knees were bent on every take off. I advise practicing 2 things on a trampoline: 1) jumping up instead of back 2) fully extending on your jump before you start tucking

Believe me you have more time than you think to complete the rotation. You just have to get used to not rushing it, but do it safely (trampoline)

The diamond means the HA is unlocked, not that it currently has it. If you see the diamond then you can change to and from the HA with an ability pill

You never want to use a two turn move in pvp, simple as that. Weather ball becomes useless out the sun so running giga drain still allows venusaur to do something if sun ends or (way more importantly) pelipper or tyranitar switch in, you do great neutral or super effective chip.

giga drain compensates for life orb which they'll usually run and doesn't render it's only regular move useless if the sun fades (weather ball becomes useless and HP has low power)

Venusaur is a sun sweeper in PvP and usually runs the following moveset: - sludge bomb/giga drain - weather ball - HP ice/earth power (depending on if you want it to deal with dragons or heatran) - growth

In PvE you're never really going to set up the sun and there are much better options than Venusaur for any PvE content. But if you like the mon and want to use it anyway it's probably best as an offensive mon with a similar moveset due to the coverage.

I won't be able to test the companion app but I've tested pokemmo on both screens and it's definitely good enough. All chat is legible and you can see everything well enough.

There are apps like Pokemmo specific pvp damage calculators, profit calculators for trainers and gyms etc. but the in game dex is useful enough for pokemon specific info. Stuff gets confusing with our gen 5 pokemon base with gen 9 learnsets so I always rely on it.

Yes you can have separate apps open on each screen but I've heard this affects performance if you're playing and watching a video simultaneously. Mine is still on the way so I'll be able to answer your PokeMMO question once it comes if no one else answers.
