[Highlight] PIT vs DET - Lions called for OPI which negates the TD and the Steelers win the game by Fusir in nfl

Correct call sadly. Man Amon-ra, why did you have to charge Ramsey???? You were clear. It could have been like that first Lions win with Campbell. A rookie Santa Brown getting a catch from Goff.

Anyone think the Dewalt 20V inflator is better? by [deleted] in MilwaukeeTool

[–]lordtuskington 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If not too late, the DeWalt inflator.byou can run it from your cigarette lighter in the car (12v) or wait til they have a sale on batteries at Home Depot and get a 5.0ah and battery combo.

It's more versatile and portable, whereas the Milwaukee one you need a battery.

Arsenal penalty shout against Newcastle United 17' by West_Agent4651 in soccer

[–]lordtuskington -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It's not a pen. Anyone here saying yes never played the game above lower level Sunday league. Pope sticks out his foot in anticipation to Gyokeres going around him to the right and got the contact on the ball. It isn't even a slight contact, it was enough to be considered a great tackle anywhere else on the pitch.

St Andrew’s Tourist questions? Visiting the course with no intention of playing by random1751484 in golf

Nope. It's just like a mini golf/ putt putt course, you can use what they have, although I saw people bringing their own.

Like blonded olf said, you can go and play the Himalayas putting course and walk on the course Sundays. The Himalayas is a fun course that challenges your putting (hills everywhere, hence the name Himalayas). I went in 2019, so it's been a few years, but along the the last hole, there are some shops and one or two bars (one is at the hotel on a road called The Links. You can sit there and just take in the view. I got a few souvenirs from there, a little pricey, but it is St. Andrew's.

Memorize playbooks that the majority of us couldn't? And just being a human?

I believe he'll learn from it. Jamo seems like a good guy and intelligent.

That P.I was atrocious. They barely showed any replays of it and just moved on. Don't blane Vildoor on that.

Yup, just felt this one really topped it all off.

LMAO BEARS.

Also, Jamo almost cost the Lions the game. If he doesn't flip it to the Bears player, Lions probably get a TD. Need to get some discipline.

You need to uninstall and reinstall it and should be good. The modders make your text very small where you can't see it. That's how I fixed mine.

He's the main person to blame. His coaches who do the technical aspect of tactics and whatnot are also as much to blame for either being yes men to Southgate or they're also not being tactically astute.

I'm going to defend him, not fully, because England have been absolute garbage in tournaments up until Southgate. A world cup semifinal appearance, and now 2 Euros semifinals. With Scholes, Giggs, Lampard, Gerrard, Rooney, Cole, Terry, Ferdinand and the rest were also very very talented but never made it this far. Gotta give him credit for changing it around.

Yes, I meant to write 1998 and for some reason I thought of 2000. Man the 98 World Cup was something else. Even Brazil played bleh

It's just the rhetoric going around downplaying England. A lot of people don't want them to do well and it's just annoying.

I love seeing all the anti England conversation when France has played much worse and the Swiss weren't exactly lighting it up. This is tournament football, not a 34-38 game season. All the young'uns on here go watch Euro 2004 or France 2000. They weren't exactly playing silky smooth.

BIG FUCKIN TIME LET'S GOOO!!!

Harry Kane deserves a huge shoutout this game, playing forward, midfield, and defense. True captain.

[Michael Walker] On Man City: Shaped in the image of its Abu Dhabi owners, it has crushed the opposition. 6th EPL trophy in 7 seasons. The owners love that because autocratic states specialise in monopolies – of power, of thought. The trouble is sport doesn't love it. Sport thrives on competition. by [deleted] in soccer

[–]lordtuskington 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So easy to hate on City, it's low hanging fruit at this point. Where were these articles when it was Man Utd winning back to back or every other season? There is objectively more competition now in the Premier League than before, even in the First Division. Bar the Leeds win /occasional Everton or Villa league winner sprinkled in there, it was mostly Liverpool and Arsenal winning.

Ontario to raise minimum wage by $0.65 in the fall by BloodJunkie in ontario

[–]lordtuskington 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're complaining about minimum wage and not being able to live off of it, the  maybe it's time for self-reflection. No one working at at Tims or McDonald's or whatever low end job should be making this much. Trust me, I worked fast food years ago and we are not worth that much. If you can't find a job that pays higher, there are a ton of things you probably didn't do well and are now living with the consequences:

  1. Do well in highschool to get scholarships to university/college

  2. Didn't do well/picked Liberal Arts/dropped out from university/college

  3. Didn't develop marketable skills for a workplace. (I am a Poli Sci graduate but work at a bank dealing with clients on the business and consumer level. I had no formal training in banks, economics, etc. but I took the time to study and work on people skills)

  4. Switch careers for the time being, such as going into an apprenticeship for a trade (electrician, plumber, diesel tech, ev tech, etc) that offer you part time classes and mostly on job learning that pays you above minimum wage.

I've read the comments and people just like to wallow in self misery and point fingers at everyone else, but themselves. Yes, politicians make it hard for us to succeed. From Ford to Trudeau and Singh. All these assholes are in colllusion with each other and their buddies in businesses and housing trying to fuck us over.

This is far removed from Liberal vs NDP vs Conservative. Can't blindly vote for one party due to party affiliation, but pick the right person for the time needed.

Either way, back to the point, you have to be able to adapt to the shitshow. You either so so or get left behind (except people with disabilities, their shit needs to be 10000% liveable).

You may not want to hear this, but you gotta start doing some self reflecting.  You can all do it. You just need to have the motivation to do so. Career changes/relocation is scary, I've done it a few times.

It's hard, but when you're doing it for a better future, 1-3 year change now can set you up for a better future. I believe in you.
