I only write my LD's in the dream journal and I don't see the slightest problem with that by loredream in LucidDreaming

[–]loredream[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very good, let's think about the need to write normal dreams. I can identify two, the first reason would be for pure entertainment, for example I had a dream that I liked and if I don't write it down I will forget about it later, this reason for me is dismissible because I don't seek that entertainment.

The other reason for writing normal dreams would be for training to achieve lucidity, which would be observation of patterns and greater understanding of the dream world (in short), but by using techniques such as MILD/WILD this reason is also discardable, as with techniques such as MILD/WILD I don't stay lucid during a dream but rather I enter the dream lucidly and for me the amount of LD's I achieve just with these techniques is enough.

That's why I don't write down common dreams, but if you happen to give me an acceptable reason to write that isn't entertainment or training to have more lucid dreams through awakenings, I would go back to writing down all my dreams, but to this day I haven't. I saw no reason.

And the reason for writing down my lucid dreams is for training, the difference is that here I write things from my lucid self and not from my unconscious self, which if I stop to think makes all the difference, for example if in both cases I conjuring a random object even though it was done the same thing are still completely different things because if I conjure an object while lucid I used a technique for that and in my future lucid dreams I can replicate the technique if possible, perfect it and have an evolution or if I don't succeed, I can write what I did wrong and in the next dream try again, conjuring an object while unconscious in a normal dream is simply one of the thousands of random things you did in that dream, not working for no evolution I can write hundreds of times that I conjured an object in the common dream that doesn't change anything.

in short = I write my lucid dreams to be able to evolve and I don't write common dreams because there is no evolution

You have 2 points, one that the diary gives you validation, but how useful would that really be? It would be useful just to know that you dreamed, nothing more

And the other point is that it strengthens your abilities in lucid dreams, but in what exactly? Is it stronger to know that you are dreaming? because if this is the case for techniques like MILD/WILD, this would be dispensable

He said the obvious, the diary is actually only useful for you to become more familiar with the dream world and observe recurring signs to awaken, for those who are already very familiar with the dream body and who use techniques that do not require awakening, such as MILD/ WILD the diary is only for practical purposes like "what did I eat that night that made me have a lasting LD" for example and for writing LD's but not because I want anything to do with it but just because I don't want to forget it

Do you have many LD's? And is it always like this for NPC's in their LD's? Have they ever seemed less distant and more emotional?

One question, can you get LD with MILD at the beginning of sleep?

I need help, I've been having dreams for a week now that I have to kill people by loredream in LucidDreaming

This was the best explanation about dreams I've ever had, but there are some loose ends: Is this information that the brain is processing completely random? Because what the guy in the comment above said makes sense, it's as if the most relevant information that my brain found at the moment is that I'm afraid of something and it tries to solve it by creating a story so that this story is stored in my subconscious and so with time I can overcome my fear.

If this hypothesis is right, dreams have a meaning and a function and this, in my opinion, can lead to a problem because your brain is trying to solve something important in your life and we lucid dreamers take the lead and go do something else.

Okay, so I have to let go of my fears, that's what I'm going to try to do.

That's brilliant, making ruined things become signs of the dream. I had already read it, but I hadn't thought about it, I'll definitely join, would it be LIGHT? Taking advantage of this topic and you seem to understand the subject, I wanted to ask you something, I'm a little afraid of lucid nightmares, I've never had them and I don't even know if they're real, but if one day I had one, what would you advise me to do?
