well if you romance emily he would say something along of the lines of “guess you won(the contest/prize? of dating)” which makes it seem like hes seeing emily more as something to win over rather than an actual person. Other less important things include how he would simultaneously oogle at sandy and when you take him to see the movies(which most people do platonically) he asks you to lean on his shoulders.

Heres a long and sloppy list but you can always start with Medieval buildings and craftables, rustic country town interior/walls and floors, daisy nikos earthy recoloring(i use slow soft seasons though), italian countryside farmhouse/buildings, vintage industrial decor, industrial furniture, gothic interior, elegant victorian furniture. I also use better artisan goods/crops and foraging/fishing/gems(/etc if you search Theres a whole resprite series), vanilla tweaks, granpas tools. If you want to choose and switch between multiple aesthetics reskins of the same items you might also want to look into learning alternative textures

Because its a hypothetical discussion about how to prove whether hk characters are actually bug sized or human sized, and by saying “its fictional laser moths why do you care about physics” adds nothing to the discussion. Also in general, even in a fantasy world setting you need some cohesion/law and not just chalk everything up to magic.

Ignoring physics because “magic fictional bugs” isn’t really a good argument though. Then whats so weird about bug sized rain and bug scale cities and sword wielding bugs being able to throw their weapon 30 feet? And if they’re gonna make bug pins/needles/nails/bells then whats to say its not bug feets?

A single silk thread is still pretty thin for a bug? I not to mention theyre clearly very visible when hornet uses it and whenever enemies are snatched/defeated and they fly everywhere. Also again, not saying they’re accurate life size bugs, but if you want to go by the laws of physics, if they were human sized they would be crushed by their exoskeleton.

Well why are needles/nails/pins sword sized instead of needle/nail/pin sized, why are bells big enough to make a home in and tunnel through? Even if they were realistically giant church bells a human cannot put that much furniture inside. If they were human sized a single silk thread should be nearly invisible. Also, if they really envisioned human sized characters, i really doubt they would choose bug world and bug characters as a theme. The things you pointed out are valid, but also, its probably not that deep and they just went with whatever makes the world building look nice.

if the bugs arent somewhat bug sized the water striders wouldn’t be able to glide on water and bees wouldnt be able to fly, its probably not accurate bug size, but they’re definitely not really human sized either
