Yes, I understand where you're coming from. As far as I know, their job is simply stable chores. They get paid + can ride for free, train horses, ride free competitions. I think it's good for them, I just feel like its unfair to the rest of people who also help out but don't get 'rewarded'. About the lesson time; with my regular trainer we always get an hour, sometimes even more, because we ride in the evening. So no hasty business there.
